Evans was ejected from his vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene
Champaign County, IL. – Junior Evans, 83, was killed in a two-vehicle collision that occurred on Thursday afternoon in Broadlands.
According to the Champaign County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 4:56 p.m. at the intersection of county roads 2700 E and 100 N.
Evans was driving a pickup truck east on 100 N when he was hit by a pickup truck that was traveling south on 2700 E.
Evans was ejected from his vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The 85-year-old male driver of the pickup truck and his passenger were both taken to a local hospital with injuries.
