A passenger car and a pickup truck that was the “pilot car” for an oversized load were involved in the accident
Quincy, IL. – John R. Kincaid III, 29, has been identified as the man who died in a collision on Wednesday morning in Quincy.
According to the police, the accident happened around 9:15 a.m. on I-172 near the West Saint Anthony Road overpass.
A passenger car and a pickup truck that was the “pilot car” for an oversized load were involved in the accident.
Kincaid III was killed in the accident, according to the Adams County Coroner’s Office.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office and Illinois State Police are investigating the accident.
