Fodge was walking on the sidewalk when she was hit by a driver who ran a red light

Las Vegas, NV – 32-year-old Jessica Fodge has been identified as the pedestrian who died after being hit by a suspected drunk driver on Wednesday morning in Las Vegas.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened around 8:44 a.m. at East Twain Avenue and University Center Drive.
Fodge was walking on the sidewalk when she was hit by a driver who ran a red light while making a turn at the intersection.
Fodge was taken to the hospital, where she later died.
The driver, 38-year-old Geraldo Lopez, was arrested on suspicion of DUI. He faces charges of reckless driving and DUI resulting in substantial bodily harm.
