Chandler, AZ – A Gila River Police officer was among three people injured in a collision that took place in Chandler on Monday afternoon, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The incident took place on I-10 near Riggs Road on Monday, March 17.
According to DPS, a Gila Police Department patrol car and three other vehicles were involved in the accident on the westbound side of I-10.
The officer suffered minor injuries while two other parties were hospitalized with serious injuries.
No further details were released.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
