Gallardo Lebron killed in two-vehicle collision at Wolf Road and Thayer Street in Mt. Prospect
Mt. Prospect, IL. – A man was killed a car accident that happened on Monday night in Mt. Prospect.
According to the Des Plaines Fire Department, the accident happened around 6:36 p.m. at the intersection of Wolf Road and Thayer Street.
83-year-old Gallardo Lebron was driving a Chrysler SUV eastbound on Thayer Street and was making a left turn onto Wolf Road when he collided with a southbound Mercedes-Benz sedan, driven by a 21-year-old Des Plaines man.
Lebron, a resident of Mt. Prospect, was killed in the accident.
The driver of the Mercedes-Benz was unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
