The Tucson Police Department said Daniel Vigil was not in a crosswalk when he was struck by the vehicles.
Tucson, AZ – A man, identified as 59-year-old Daniel Joseph Vigil, has died after being hit by two vehicles near a Tucson intersection early Wednesday.
The deadly auto-pedestrian collision happened at about 5 a.m. on March 12 in the 6100 block of South Kolb Road near Valencia Road.
The Tucson Police Department said Daniel Vigil was not in a crosswalk when he was struck by the vehicles.
Vigil sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.
Both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators, as per TPD.
The crash remains under investigation.
