Police said a small passenger car rolled over on the south side of the freeway. Authorities believed the car drove off the roadway, and struck a steep embankment before rolling over.

Wayne County, IN. – 55-year-old Connie Jones of Richmond was killed and another hurt following a vehicle collision on Sunday in Wayne County.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, the accident occurred at about 1:03 a.m. on June 22, on Interstate 70 eastbound near the 137-mile marker.
Police said a small passenger car rolled over on the south side of the freeway. Authorities believed the car drove off the roadway, and struck a steep embankment before rolling over.
Jones, the driver, was thrown off the car and was declared dead at the crash site.
The passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to get better.
Police closed I-70 for around three hours to give way to investigation and clearing operation.
An investigation is underway.
