Lerner and Rowe Injury Attorneys’ employees are gearing up and giving back as they prepare to take part in the Color Me Rad race at the Las Vegas Speedway on Saturday, November 17, at 9 a.m. to benefit the Speedway Children’s Charity (SCC).
The race is unique with racers and volunteers are given packets of colored corn starch powder to “bomb” their comrades as they make their way through the 5k. This race advertises itself as the only 5K that will send you running through the rainbow. Chances are you’ve seen pictures of this run; runners head to toe in different colors, looking like tie-dye shirts come to life.
Color Me Rad
This gluten-free colorful event raises funds for the SCC, a national non-profit 501(c)(3) organization created in 1982 to care for children in educational, financial, social and medical need in order to help them lead productive lives. They strive to help ensure that every child has the same opportunity no matter what obstacle they are facing. It provides funding for hundreds of non-profit organizations throughout the nation that meet the direct needs of children. They have given millions of dollars in grants and assistance.
