Cody Becker killed in rear-end collision on Interstate 57 in Farina
Farina, IL. – A 32-year-old man was killed in a collision on Friday morning near Farina in Fayette County.
According to the police, the accident happened on Interstate 57 at the 139 marker at around 1:25 a.m.
Cody Becker was driving a car on the roadway when he crashed into the rear of a semi-truck that had stopped in the left lane due to an accident ahead of it.
Becker, a resident of Lakeland, Tennessee, was killed in the accident.
The truck driver was unhurt.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
