Moapa, NV. – 41-year-old Claudia Vega Nava was killed after a traffic collision that happened over the Fourth of July holiday, according to the Clark County Coroner’s office.
The deadly collision happened on July 5 on I-15 near the Valley of Fire Exit.
Authorities said information about the number of vehicles and how the crash happened was not available.
Nava was severely hurt and was rushed to UMC Hospital where she died three days after the collision.
The far right northbound lanes of I-15 near the Valley of Fire exit were closed following the crash.
An investigation is ongoing.
