Douglas County, NV. – 24-year-old Brian A. Vasquez-Gonzalez of Carson City has been identified as the man who died in a car accident on Thursday morning in Glenbrook.

According to the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 6 a.m. on U.S. 50 at mile marker 10.

A silver Toyota Tacoma was traveling eastbound in the westbound lane and collided head-on with a Subaru Crosstrek.

Vasquez-Gonzalez was killed in the accident, according to the Washoe County Regional Examiner’s Office.

The driver of the Tacoma, Stephen Michael Pawlowski, was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. He was later charged with vehicular homicide, driving left of the center line, failure to maintain lanes, and DUI causing substantial bodily harm.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
