A 17-year-old was reportedly struck by a black Mercedes in the area under unclear circumstances.
The victim was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and was not suspected of speeding or impairment.
Both directions of the Cass Street Bridge were shut down as authorities investigated the incident.
The accident is under investigation.
