Polk County, FL – A bicyclist was killed in a collision involving two vehicles in Polk County on Wednesday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on South County Line Road south of Ralston Road at about 8:53 p.m. on March 19.
According to the report, a Ford Mustang was traveling southbound on South Country Line Road when it drifted off the side of the road and hit a bicyclist.
The Mustang then went back into the roadway and hit a Ford Mustang.
The bicyclist was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased
The involved drivers were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
