Reno, NV – A bicyclist was hospitalized with critical injuries after a collision that happened in Reno on Monday evening, according to the Nevada Department of Transportation.
The wreck took place on McCarran Boulevard near Wedekind Road just before 6 p.m. January 4.
According to the report, a bicyclist failed to yield to traffic and was hit by two cars on westbound McCarran Boulevard.
The bicyclist was rushed to a hospital with critical injuries.
The two drivers involved in the accident stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The westbound lanes of McCarran Boulevard were shut down temporarily following the accident.
The cause of the collision remained under investigation.
