Port St. Lucie, FL – A 40-year-old woman who was killed in a head-on traffic collision at an intersection in Port St. Lucie Sunday evening has been identified as Beatrice Saturne.
Beatrice Saturne was in the middle rear seat of a 2002 Toyota Camry that collided head-on with a red 2023 Kia Soul at about 7:05 p.m. on Sunday, January 19.
Authorities said the Kia was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of St. James Drive when it head-on collided with the northbound Toyota Camry.
Saturne was transported to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center where she died.

Port St. Lucie, FL – A 40-year-old woman was killed in a head-on traffic collision at an intersection in Port St. Lucie Sunday evening, according to the Port St. Lucie Police Department.
The wrong-way collision happened at about 7:05 p.m. at the intersection of Northwest St. James Drive and Northeast Charleston Oaks Drive, near Southern Oaks Middle School and Rivers Edge Elementary School.
According to the police, a red 2023 Kia Soul was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of St. James Drive when it head-on collided with a northbound 2002 Toyota Camry.
Authorities said a 40-year-old woman who was seated in the middle-rear seat sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center where she died.
A 3-year-old child who was also a passenger in the Toyota was flown to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach in stable condition.
Police said the woman was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
No additional information was provided.
The incident remains under investigation.
