Tonopah, AZ – At least one person was injured in a big rig collision in Tonopah on Friday morning, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The incident took place on Interstate 10 near milepost 100 at about 7:45 a.m. April 11.
According to the report, a car collided with a semi-truck on the westbound side of I-10 and was pinned underneath the rig.
The driver of the car was extricated and transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
The westbound side of I-10 was shut down as authorities investigated the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
