Centralia, IL. – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a car accident in Centralia on Thursday afternoon.
According to the Centralia Police Department, the accident happened around 1:44 p.m. at East 5th and South Pine.
Amanda Goodin was driving a car east on 5th Street when she reportedly failed to yield the right of way and crashed into a car traveling north on Pine Street.
The impact of the collision caused Goodin’s car to overturn. She was taken to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment.
