Apache Junction Crash Injures Motorcycle Trooper

APACHE JUNCTION (Oct. 17, 2018) − An Apache Junction crash injured a local motorcycle trooper Wednesday morning.

The crash occurred on Ironwood Drive, just south of the U.S. 60, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

DPS stated that the trooper remained alert but hurt.

Emergency officials transported the trooper to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The other driver appeared to have no injuries, according to the DPS.

Drivers experienced slight delays in the morning commute as the right lane was blocked on Ironwood Drive.

The crash remains under investigation by the Apache Junction Police Department, as well as the DPS.
