Police said a pedestrian suffered life threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle early Monday morning near Ash Street and Northwest Boulevard in Spokane.
Spokane, WA.- A pedestrian was critically injured following an accident Monday morning in Spokane.
The accident occurred around 4 a.m. on August 10 near Ash Street and Northwest Boulevard.
Police said a 19 year old woman was driving a passenger vehicle when she struck the pedestrian.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and transported the injured man to Sacred Heart for treatment of life threatening injuries.
Investigators said alcohol impairment was a factor in the collision.
The driver completed field sobriety tests at the scene and was later arrested on a vehicular assault charge.
The accident remains under investigation.
