Authorities said three people were injured, including one critically, following a partial head on accident Tuesday morning on Geiger Grade Road near Reno.
Reno, NV.- Three people were injured following a partial head on accident Tuesday morning in Washoe County.
The accident occurred around 5 a.m. on August 11 on Geiger Grade Road, also known as State Route 341, near King Lane and mile marker 4.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and found three people with injuries.
One person suffered critical injuries and was airlifted to a local hospital.
A second person was transported by ground ambulance with serious injuries, while a third person sustained non life threatening injuries.
Geiger Grade Road was closed in both directions for several hours while emergency crews assisted those involved and cleared the roadway.
The accident remains under investigation.
