Marion, IN.- Emergency crews responded to a hit and run accident Tuesday in Marion.
The accident occurred on August 4 at the intersection of Pennsylvania Street and State Road 18.
Authorities said a tan sedan struck a medical transport vehicle that was carrying a patient before leaving the scene.
An ambulance was requested to transport the patient following the collision.
Officials have not released information regarding the patient’s injuries or whether anyone else was hurt.
The driver of the tan sedan has not been identified.
The accident remains under investigation.
