Troopers said five people suffered critical injuries following a two vehicle accident Thursday night near Landstar Boulevard and Iowa Woods Circle in Orange County.
Orange County, FL.- Five people were critically injured following a two vehicle accident Thursday night in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred on July 30 in the Meadow Woods area near the intersection of Landstar Boulevard and Iowa Woods Circle.
Troopers said a Subaru Outback carrying two occupants and a Honda Civic carrying three occupants collided near the intersection.
The impact forced the Honda off the roadway and into a tree.
Orange County Fire Rescue reported that one of the vehicles caught fire and that three occupants were trapped before emergency crews freed them.
All five occupants were transported to local hospitals with critical injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
