Nevada Highway Patrol said a four vehicle accident with reported injuries occurred Tuesday evening on Interstate 215 near Green Valley Parkway in Las Vegas.
Las Vegas, NV.- Emergency crews responded to a multi vehicle accident Tuesday evening in Las Vegas, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred at approximately 7:59 p.m. on July 22 on westbound Interstate 215 just east of Green Valley Parkway.
Authorities said the collision involved four vehicles and prompted a response from emergency medical personnel.
Officials have not released information regarding the number of people injured or whether anyone was transported to a hospital.
The westbound lanes of Interstate 215 were temporarily closed while emergency crews assisted those involved and investigators processed the scene.
The roadway reopened at approximately 9:33 p.m.
A second accident was reported in the same area shortly after the freeway reopened. Additional information about that incident has not been released.
The accident remains under investigation.
