Authorities said three people, including two children, were injured following a two vehicle accident Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Route 18 and Chicago Street in Magnolia.
Magnolia, IL.- Three people were injured following a two vehicle accident Sunday afternoon in Magnolia.
The accident occurred on July 19 at the intersection of Route 18 and Chicago Street.
Investigators said a sport utility vehicle driven by 30 year old Tyree Wilson of Peoria was traveling east on Route 18 when it was struck by a vehicle driven by 71 year old Phyllis Munowitz of Naperville.
Authorities said Munowitz was turning from Route 18 onto Chicago Street when the collision occurred.
Neither driver was injured.
Three passengers inside Wilson’s SUV, including two children, were transported to OSF HealthCare Saint Elizabeth Medical Center in Peru with minor injuries.
No additional information about those injured has been released.
The accident remains under investigation.
