Troopers said two people were injured following an accident Friday morning on Florida’s Turnpike near State Road 50 in Winter Garden.
Winter Garden, FL.- Two people were injured following an accident Friday morning in Winter Garden, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred around 5:39 a.m. on July 17 on the southbound lanes of Florida’s Turnpike near mile marker 274, just before State Road 50 in Orange County.
Troopers said the collision involved a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe and a 2016 Hyundai Sonata.
Both injured occupants were transported to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The accident caused a roadblock and delayed traffic while emergency crews responded to the scene.
The lanes have since reopened.
