Troopers said a woman was killed and two others were injured following a single vehicle accident Thursday morning on State Route 410 near Corral Pass Road in Greenwater.
Greenwater, WA.- One person was killed and two others were injured following a single vehicle accident Thursday morning in Greenwater, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The accident occurred around 9:30 a.m. on July 16 on State Route 410 near Corral Pass Road at milepost 53.
Troopers said a 2006 Subaru carrying three women left the roadway and struck a tree after the driver lost control of the vehicle.
Kimberly Rodriguez Aguirre of Yakima was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Subaru came to rest on its roof in a ditch about 30 feet from the highway.
Two other occupants, ages 27 and 26, were transported to local hospitals with non life threatening injuries.
State Route 410 was closed for more than four hours before reopening.
The accident remains under investigation.
