Authorities said one person was hospitalized following a two vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon on Thornydale Road in Pima County.
Tucson, AZ.- One person was injured following a two vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon in Pima County.
The accident occurred on July 15 on Thornydale Road between West Flying Diamond Drive and West Camino Alto.
Authorities said the roadway was closed beginning at approximately 2:30 p.m. while emergency crews responded to the scene.
One person was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The roadway remained closed until around 6 p.m. as emergency responders assisted those involved and cleared the travel lanes.
Additional details about those involved have not been released.
The accident remains under investigation.
