Authorities said four people were hospitalized, including one person who was airlifted, following an accident Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Lillian Highway and Miramar Drive in Escambia County.
Escambia County, FL.- Four people were injured following an accident Thursday afternoon in Escambia County.
The accident occurred at approximately 4:45 p.m. on July 16 at the intersection of Lillian Highway and Miramar Drive.
Emergency responders found multiple injured occupants at the scene.
One person was airlifted to a local hospital for treatment, while three children and one adult were transported by ground ambulance.
The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, Escambia County EMS, Escambia County Fire Rescue, and the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene.
Authorities have not released the identities of those involved or additional details about the circumstances leading up to the accident.
The accident remains under investigation.
