Peoria, IL. – A man was injured after a truck collision on Thursday afternoon in Peoria, according to the Peoria Fire Department.
The accident occurred a while before 4:00 p.m. on July 2, on Illinois Route 6.

According to authorities, a hydraulic extraction tool was used to cut the roof off the rolled-over truck and remove the male driver.
The man was rushed to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Northbound lanes were re-opened as of 5:00 p.m.
