Phoenix, AZ. – A woman died after being struck by a vehicle on Friday night in Phoenix.
The fatal accident happened in the area of 20th Avenue and Camelback Road around 9:50 p.m., according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The woman was attempting to cross Phoenix when she was struck by a vehicle. The pedestrian was found lying on the roadway unresponsive.
Paramedics transported the woman to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
The driver showed no signs of impairment after evaluation.
