Man Killed in Vehicle Crash on Cherokee Street in Bay County

The FHP officials confirmed an SUV was heading southbound on Cherokee Street when it entered the pathway of a pickup truck entering the junction on Bay Head Road. The pickup truck crashed into the SUV’s left side and caused the two cars to come to a halt on the road.

Bay County, FL. – A man was killed after a traffic collision on Friday afternoon in Bay County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The accident happened on June 19, on Cherokee Street.

The FHP officials confirmed an SUV was heading southbound on Cherokee Street when it entered the pathway of a pickup truck entering the junction on Bay Head Road. The pickup truck crashed into the SUV’s left side and caused the two cars to come to a halt on the road.

The SUV driver, a 54-year-old man from Youngstown, was killed in the collision.

The pickup truck driver was not hurt due to the crash.
