Yuma, AZ. – Two people were injured in a motorcycle accident on Monday morning in Yuma.
According to the Yuma Police Department, the accident in the area of S. Mary Avenue and E. 24th Street at around 11:21 p.m.
A man was riding a 2009 Harley Davidson eastbound on E. 24th Street when he collided with a Honda Civic that was making a left turn onto Mary Avenue.
Paramedics medics airlifted the motorcycle rider, an 18-year-old man, and his passenger, an 18-year-old woman, to a Phoenix hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The police suspect speed was a factor in the crash.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
