Knox County, IN. – An Indiana State Police Trooper was injured after being struck by a vehicle on Tuesday evening near Decker in Knox County.
According to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened on Highway 41.
An SUV driven by a 33-year-old Vincennes resident reportedly struck a state trooper who was standing outside his fully marked cruiser.
The officer was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The SUV driver unhurt and was cited for Unsafe Lane Movement.
Indiana State Police is investigating the accident.
