Driver Killed in Rollover Crash on I-84 at Milepost 275 near La Grande

Troopers said a driver was driving a red Ford Ranger eastbound when the vehicle went off the roadway and rolled over severally before throwing the motorist off the vehicle.

La Grande, OR. – A 25-year-old driver from Payatte, Idaho was killed after a rollover collision on Saturday morning in La Grande.

According to the Oregon State Police, the accident occurred a while after 1:30 a.m. on June 13.

Troopers said a driver was driving a red Ford Ranger eastbound when the vehicle went off the roadway and rolled over severally before throwing the motorist off the vehicle.

The driver was pronounced dead at the crash site. 

Troopers said the driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time.

The OSP was assisted at the scene by the La Grande Fire Department and Union County Sheriff’s Office.
