Malheur County, OR. – A woman was killed after a single-vehicle accident on Thursday morning in Malheur County, according to the Oregon State Police.

The accident happened a while after 8:30 a.m. on June 11, on Highway 210 near milepost 14.

Police said a red Pontiac Vibe was heading northbound on the highway when the car went off the roadway for unknown reasons and hit an irrigation ditch. The vehicle overturned several times after the crash.

The driver, a 35-year-old woman, was declared dead at the crash site.

The woman was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.

No one else was in the car at the time.

An investigation is underway.
