Springfield, IL. – A 69-year-old woman was killed after a two-vehicle accident last week Thursday in Springfield, according to the Springfield Police Department.
The crash happened on June 4 near the S 7th St and East Laurel intersection.
Police said two vehicles crashed for unknown reasons.
Troopers said a woman from Roodhouse, IL, was taken to HSHS St John’s Hospital where she died at 2:51 p.m. a while after her arrival.
An autopsy was scheduled for Friday, June 5.
