Madison County, FL. – Two people were killed after a head-on collision early Saturday morning in the Greenville area, Madison County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred a while after 1 a.m. on June 6, on eastbound I-10.
Troopers said a 34-year-old woman from Orange Park was driving wrong-way on I-10 East when she struck a 24-year-old Jacksonville man head-on.
The two vehicles spun out after the crash impact.
The two drivers were declared dead at the crash site.
All eastbound lanes on I-10 were closed for several hours following the crash.
