According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened in the 5300 block of North High School Road at around 10:08 p.m.
A pedestrian was struck by an SUV in unclear circumstances. The man was found lying in the middle of the road.
The man was transported to the hospital with serious injuries, where he later died.
