Troopers said a 34-year-old woman of Middleburg was driving a sedan eastbound on Normandy Boulevard near the intersection with Highway 301 when she veered off the roadway, crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a pickup truck head-on.
Duval County, FL. – A man was killed after a head-on collision on Friday night at the Duval County line, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident happened a while after 6:20 p.m. on June 5, on Normandy Boulevard near U.S. Highway 301.
Troopers said a 34-year-old woman of Middleburg was driving a sedan eastbound on Normandy Boulevard near the intersection with Highway 301 when she veered off the roadway, crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a pickup truck head-on.
The woman was declared dead at the scene.
The pickup truck, a 38-year-old man, suffered minor injuries due to the collision.
None of the drivers was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
