Police said a 22-year-old male driver was driving on Highland Avenue when his vehicle swerved into oncoming traffic and crashed into another car. One of the vehicles caught fire after the accident.
Grant Pass, OR. – One person was killed and another one was injured after a two-vehicle accident on Tuesday morning in Grant Pass, according to the Grants Pass Police Department.
The accident happened at about 8:15 p.m. on June 2 in the 2700 block of Highland Avenue.
Police said a 22-year-old male driver was driving on Highland Avenue when his vehicle swerved into oncoming traffic and crashed into another car. One of the vehicles caught fire after the accident.
Bystanders helped the occupants before the emergency crews arrived.
The 22-year-old man was declared dead at the crash site.
The second driver sustained non-life threatening injuries and was rushed to Three Rivers Medical Center.
Police said the investigation of the incident is complete.
