Kane County, IL. – Two people were killed after a two-vehicle collision on Thursday evening in unincorporated Kane County.
According to the Huntley Fire Protection District, the accident happened at about 5:28 p.m. on May 28, just west of the Sandwald Road and Big Timber Road intersection.
Officials said two vehicles crashed head-on for unknown reasons. The two cars sustained front-end damage following the collision.
An adult man was declared dead at the crash site.
An adult woman suffered injuries and was taken to Northwestern Medicine Huntley Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
No additional information regarding this crash was provided.
