The driver of the Taurus and one passenger were airlifted to the hospital with injuries.

Starke County, IN. – Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Thursday morning in Starke County.
According to the Starke County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at the intersection of US 35 and S.R. 8 at around 4:35 a.m.
A 27-year-old man was driving westbound a 2024 Jeep Compass north on C.R. 100 North when he collided with a southbound 2008 Ford Taurus driven by a 21-year-old woman.
The driver of the Taurus and the front seat passenger, a 19-year-old woman, were airlifted to the hospital with injuries.
Two rear seat passengers of the Taurus, a 19-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man, were transported to the hospital after complaining of pain.
The driver of the Compass declined medical treatment at the scene.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
