Portland, OR. – A bicyclist was killed after a traffic collision on Tuesday evening in Portland, according to the Portland Police Department.
The accident happened a while after 6:30 p.m. on May 26 at the NE Halsey Street and NE 111th Avenue intersection.
Police said an electric bike and a vehicle crashed in unclear circumstances.
The bicyclist was rushed to the hospital where they later died.
The driver remained at the crash site after the accident.
Police closed the intersection between NE 111th Ave and NE 113th Ave to give way to an on-scene investigation.
