Palm City, FL. – A driver was injured after a semi-truck accident on Wednesday on the Florida Turnpike, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident happened on May 27, on Florida Turnpike.

The driver sustained minor injuries but they declined transport to a hospital.
The semi-truck sustained significant damage after the accident.
The Martin County Fire Rescue and the Martin County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.
Fire officials reported a minor cracking on one of the bridge’s support pillars.
Troopers said both northbound and southbound lanes of the Turnpike were closed following the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
