Police said at least two semis crashed in unclear circumstances.
Channahon, IL. – One individual was killed while two others were injured after a traffic collision on Tuesday morning in Channahon, according to the Illinois State Police.
The fatal collision occurred at around 6:27 a.m. on May 26, on southbound Arsenal Road.
Police said at least two semis crashed in unclear circumstances.
Three people suffered injuries and were transported to local hospitals. One of them succumbed to their injuries at the hospital.
The southbound lanes of the Frontage Road were closed and later reopened at around 11:00 a.m.
An investigation is underway.
