Police said two vehicles including an SUV collided in the westbound lanes in unclear circumstances.
Gurnee, IL. – One individual was killed after a semi-truck accident early Saturday morning in Gurnee, according to the Illinois State Police.
The accident happened a while before 5:00 a.m. on May 23, on westbound Interstate 94 near Belvidere Road exit.
Police said two vehicles including an SUV collided in the westbound lanes in unclear circumstances.
Two persons from the SUV were transported to an area hospital. One of them succumbed to their injuries at the hospital.
Three lanes were closed to give way to an on-scene investigation.
