Both the drivers of the Ford Edge and Chevrolet Trax were injured in the accident.

Elkhart County, IN. – Two people were injured in a car crash on Wednesday afternoon in Elkhart County.
According to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at the intersection of Old U.S. 20 and Sheridan Boulevard at around 5:30 p.m.
A 2014 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by a 55-year-old of Elkhart resident was traveling eastbound on Old U.S. 20 approaching the intersection when it struck the rear of a 2024 Ford Edge driven by a 25-year-old Osceola resident.
The Ford Edge then crossed the centerline and was struck by a westbound 2019 Chevrolet Trax driven by a 24-year-old from Elkhart.
Both the drivers of the Ford Edge and Chevrolet Trax were injured in the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
