Dubois County, IN. – A 36-year-old driver was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday evening in Dubois County.
According to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened at the intersection of State Road 64 west and State Road 161 at around 6:04 p.m.
A white Ford pickup truck crossed the center line into the oncoming traffic and collided with another vehicle. The second vehicle came to rest down the embankment with the driver trapped inside.
The driver of the second vehicle succumbed to their injuries.
Two juvenile passengers of the second vehicle were taken to Deaconess Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The 37-year-old driver of the Ford pickup truck was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Resulting in Death.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
