LaPorte County, IN. – A 41-year-old woman was killed in a head-on crash on Wednesday afternoon in LaPorte County.
According to the LaPorte County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at State Road 39 and County Road 1500 South at around 4 p.m.
The woman was driving a Hyundai northbound on S.R. 39 when she crossed the centerline and struck a Jeep traveling southbound.
Medical personnel pronounced the Hyundai driver dead at the scene.
The driver of the Jeep sustained injuries.
