Las Vegas, NV. – A 14-year-old boy was injured after being struck by a vehicle on Monday evening in Las Vegas.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of East Lake Mead Boulevard and Marion Drive at around 6:15 p.m.
The boy was crossing East Lake Mead Boulevard when he was struck by a 2011 GMC traveling westbound.
The boy was taken to UMC trauma with critical injuries.
The driver of the GMC remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
